Juve made a bid for the 19-year-old midfielder, but the teenager was eventually sold by Pescara to PSG.
“The move to Juventus was practically complete in June,” he explained to the Gazzetta dello Sport. “But it collapsed.
“Then Paris SG came in with a good offer for Pescara and an interesting project for me. At Juventus they spoke of the future, in Paris the present.
“I could have stayed at Pescara as Serie A for a 19-year-old is quite big, but you have to take your opportunities in football.
“PSG are destined to become one of the top five clubs in the world and they are playing in the Champions League. You can’t turn that down.”
