PSG midfielder Javier Pastore admits he never wanted to leave Serie A.
He moved to PSG in the summer after Palermo accepted a 42m offer from the French outfit.
"I would have wanted to stay in Italy because it is a country that I love a lot, it's a place where I spent two magnificent years," Pastore told the Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Your football is the most beautiful and it would be even more so if you turned more to younger players.
"In Italy a 24-year-old is considered as a youngster when, in fact, he is already a mature footballer."
