PSG star Ibrahimovic drops Premier League hint

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has indicated that he is ready to make the move to the Premier League.

The Paris Saint-Germain striker was speaking to English press in the mixed zone at Parc des Princes after his side defeated Chelsea 2-1 in the Champions League Round of 16 first leg when he hinted that perhaps he is now ready to move to England.

When asked what Ibrahimovic's next move would be once his PSG contract expires in the summer, the Swedish megastar said: "I have another three months here and, then, what will happen? Big things will happen."

He was prompted further regarding a possible move to England's top flight, and responded with: "Let's just say I am in good shape for it."

Ibrahimovic, who scored the opening goal for his side on Tuesday night, has reportedly agreed to play for David Beckham's Miami franchise in Major League Soccer in 2018 but is keen to stay in Europe before he heads over to North America.

Reports suggest that the former Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona and AC Milan forward could follow Jose Mourinho to Manchester United if the Portuguese replaces Louis van Gaal at the end of the season.

Ibrahimovic scored 29 goals in 47 games under Mourinho as Inter won the 2008/09 Serie A title.
