Former AC Milan defender Thiago Silva rates Roma as title favourites.

The PSG captain is impressed by the squad Roma have assembled.

“For me, Roma are favourites," Thiago Silva explained.

“The Giallorossi have made a big signing in [Edin] Dzeko, the type of player they needed. We'll have to see how the new signings integrate for their rivals.

“I think for Juventus it will be hard to replace three players as decisive as [Andrea] Pirlo, [Arturo] Vidal and [Carlos] Tevez.

“[Paul] Pogba has stayed, and he's a great player, but he needs to improve the defensive side of his game."
