New PSG signing Ludovic Giuly has blasted Roma after a disappointing 12 months in the Italian capital.

"Now I am doing well at my new club and I feel like I have been reborn in football terms," he enthused in Le Parisien.

"I could have stayed at Roma where I still had two years left on my contract but I didn't like it there.

"Now I feel like I am respected by my colleagues, like I was at Monaco and Barcelona, but I never felt that at Roma.

"I decided that I was going to leave the Giallorossi at the end of the season even if there wasn't a concrete offer."
