Paris Saint-Germain are set to make a new offer for Manchester United's Angel Di Maria.

The Telegraph is reporting that the French giants are looking to complete the signing of the Argentine winger before the weekend and will step up their pursuit with a £45million offer in order to do so.

Di Maria is due to fly out to the USA on Saturday to link up with the Red Devils for the pre-season tour but PSG are hoping to push through a deal prior to that.

PSG sporting director Oliver Letang has held talks with United's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward this week but still the Ligue 1 champions are yet to meet the English club's valuation of the former Real Madrid attacking midfielder.

Di Maria and his wife, Jorgelina Cardoso, are believed to be unsettled in Manchester and are keen on a move to Paris but United are determined to recoup most of the £59.7m they paid for him just last summer and are expected to play hardball with PSG.
