PSG see Spurs boss Pochettino as Emery replacement

French giants Paris Saint-Germain are eyeing a potential summer swoop for Mauricio Pochettino.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that PSG chiefs see the Tottenham Hotspur manager as an apt replacement for Unai Emery.

The Spaniard's future at the Parc des Princes is under question following their enormously disappointing capitulation at the hands of Barcelona in the Champions League last week.

PSG's stranglehold on the Ligue 1 title may also be coming to an end as they remain behind the free-scoring AS Monaco, who hold a three-point lead at the top of the standings.

If indeed PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is to make a change at season's end, Spurs boss Pochettino is at the top of their wish-list.

The Argentine spent two seasons as a player with PSG and still has a close connection with the French capital, king him an ideal candidate.

PSG are also believed to be continually watching Arsene Wenger's situation at Arsenal.
