Barcelona have failed with a second bid for PSG defender Maquinhos.

Barca had an offer of €20 million plus Daniel Alves turned down by PSG before the World Cup.

And Le Sport 10 says a new proposal of €25 million plus Daniel Alves has also been thrown out by the Paris mega spenders.

Instead, PSG returned to the negotiating table to enquire about a price for Barca winger Pedro.
