PSG are launching a stunning summer bid for Manchester United star Wayne Rooney. Sport says PSG's Qatari owners have put €150 million aside to cover both a fee and wages for Rooney when the summer market opens later this week.

PSG's chiefs are throwing everything at signing Rooney after being frustrated over enquiries for Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi.

They feel PSG need to find a player of Messi or Rooney's standing to convince other stars to make the move to Paris in the coming seasons.
