PSG are pushing to close their world record deal for Barcelona star Neymar within the next week.

L'Equipe says PSG do not wish for the transfer to drag out and are now intensifying negotiations with the player's camp.

Meeting Neymar's €222m is "difficult but feasible" according to PSG sources and all that is needed is for the Brazilian's approval.

The French giants want a deal done by next week, which has led to PSG sports chief Antero Henrique demanding a clear commitment from Neymar in the coming days.

Should the attacker hesitate, PSG will immediately pursue alternative targets, including Arsenal attacker Alexis Sanchez and Monaco's Kylian Mbappe.
