PSG are intensifying their bid for LA Galaxy star David Beckham.

The Manchester United and Real Madrid icon is also a target for QPR and Tottenham.

But the Daily Mail says the Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) group, who bankrolled the club from the French capital to the tune of more than £50million this summer, hope to convince Beckham to join their ambitious project.

The key man in the deal is Beckham's old friend Leonardo, with whom he worked closely at AC Milan during two loan spells in Italy, and who is now the director of football at PSG. The Brazilian has publicly stated his desire to rekindle their relationship.
