PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi wants to sack Unai Emery after their Champions League elimination and replace him with a "strong man".
Instead, reports AS, the president wants to install a bigger personality as coach who can manage PSG's locker room of big name egos. His top choice is Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho, with Atletico Madrid's Diego Simeone his prime alternative.
Mourinho only signed a new deal with United in January, extending his stay to 2020. Any chance of Al-Khelaifi prising Mourinho away from United will be dependent on a world record compensation offer.
Immediately after the 2-1 defeat, Al-Khelaifi told reporters: "This has to be fixed inside the locker room. Then the players will speak, I am very angry.
"We must be calm and see what we can do and how we can improve the team. It's a huge disappointment for everyone."
