PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi made enquiries after James Rodriguez on Wednesday.

Before last night's defeat to Real Madrid, Al Khelaifi asked president Florentino Perez about James' situation.

Al Khelaifi enquired about a price for James, reports Don Balon, but was given short shrift by Perez.

The Real supremo insisted there were only two scenarios for James this summer - he either returned to the club or continues his loan with Bayern Munich.

Bayern are weighing up triggering the permanent option in James' two-year deal 12 months early - to the tune of €70m. Perez would readily accept, putting the money raised to an already massive summer warchest.
