PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has identified Philippe Coutinho as his next big name signing.

The Liverpool attacker is emerging as PSG's priority target for 2017 with Al-Khelaifi actively discussing the Brazilian with his directors.

AS says Coutinho is also wanted by Barcelona, but PSG hope to have an edge in negotiations.

While Liverpool are drawing up a new contract offer to convince Coutinho to stay, PSG aim to force a rethink by proposing a cash-plus-player deal.

PSG are willing to sacrifice Lucas Moura to land Coutinho and are prepared to include him in their offer to the Reds. Though whether that will be enough to convince Liverpool is another question.
