PSG are ready to bid for Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye next week.

L'Equipe says PSG are aiming to sign Cabaye during the January market.

Cabaye was subject to a £10million bid from Arsenal in the summer, and skipped training sessions and matches alike as he looked to seek a move away.

That switch didn't materialize, but a Champions League venture with PSG would probably suit the 27-year-old, as it would also boost the chances of him starting in Brazil for Les Bleus.
