French giants Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to offer Adrien Rabiot in order to land Kevin Strootman from AS Roma this winter.
The Express suggests that PSG are willing to offload the promising midfielder in the next transfer window to avoid losing him for nothing when his contract expires next summer.
Arsenal and Chelsea were both in pursuit of Rabiot during the recently closed transfer window but it is believed that PSG would rather do business with Italian club Roma so they can land Dutch midfielder Strootman.
The 24-year old is a target for Manchester United with reports that Louis van Gaal is looking to sign him in January when he is fully recovered from the knee injury which kept him out of the 2014 World Cup but it appears as though PSG are looking to scupper the proposed deal.
