Schalke midfielder Benjamin Stambouli has revealed how Zlatan Ibrahimovic would joke with his teammates.
Stambouli, formerly of Tottenham, recalled one anecdote involving the Manchester United striker.
He told Goal of his ex-PSG teammate: "We were with the physios, we were being massaged and the television was on. Zlatan was injured at the time, but he intended to play the next match.
"Suddenly, the title 'Zlatan, the return of the king' appeared on television. He asked me to translate this for him. I'm sure he knew what it meant. I translated the sentence and he said 'Benji, what is that?' I am not the king. I am god!' And we both laughed about it.
"It's like a little game he plays with his teammates, with the whole world. But even when we know him well, he still has a bit of mystery in him."
