PSG midfielder Marco Verratti says Italy have improved as their Euro qualifying has run on.

Verratti provided a splendid assist for Eder in a 3-1 victory away to Azerbaijan on Saturday.

“We are still unbeaten in our group and that is a big advantage to have," Verratti told Sky Sport Italia.

“We're getting more clinical. When we need to defend, we can do that. It's a good quality for a team."
