Grzegorz Krychowiak will be staying put at West Bromwich Albion reveals manager Alan Pardew.

With Pardew being unimpressed with Krychowiak's fitness, there were question marks regarding the midfielder's future at the Hawthorns.

But the Baggies boss has gone on to allay such concerns by stating that the Polish international is not going anywhere this January.

Pardew said: "I thought he was very good. We felt he needed a bit of work if I'm honest when we come here.

"We worked him quite hard in the background and thought Anfield might be a place that he would do well. He had some moments where he showed his international class I thought."
