Paris Saint-Germain are set to make a move for Tottenham midfielder Benjamin Stambouli.
According to the Daily Mail, the 24-year-old has emerged as a surprise target on the radar of the French champions who are set to offer £6million for his services.
Stambouli, who joined Spurs from Montpellier last summer, had been in discussions with Watford after they had a bid of £4m accepted by the north Londoners a few weeks ago.
PSG's reported interest comes after Yohan Cabaye left the Parc des Princes for Crystal Palace suggesting that Stambouli is potentially seen as cover for the former Newcastle United star.
