PSG have made Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka their top summer target.
The People says Anelka has moved to the top of Paris Saint-Germain's wanted list - after Samuel Eto'o and Dimitar Berbatov rejected offers from the French club.
PSG, who have been taken over by a wealthy investment group from Qatar, are poised to make an £8.5million bid and Anelka is understood to be willing to consider a return to his first club.
Inter Milan hot shot Eto'o was their No.1 target, but the Cameroon star is not interested in uprooting himself for a team not in the Champions League.
PSG subsequently turned their attentions to Manchester United's Berbatov, but the salary and length of contract on offer did not match the Bulgarian's demands.
Now they have switched their attentions to Anelka and are ready to offer Chelsea's 32-year-old striker a ticket to return to his home city.
