PSG wanted to sign Atletico Madrid striker Fernando Torres this summer, it has been revealed.
AS says former PSG coach Laurent Blanc was keen on the former Liverpool and Chelsea forward for this season.
PSG chief Olivier Letang met with Torres in May and discussed the prospect of moving to Paris.
Torres was available, with his deal at AC Milan expiring in June.
However, in the end, the deal fell through, with Torres signing a contract with Atleti and Blanc losing his job.
