PSG are preparing a bid for Newcastle United striker Demba Ba.

Ba's current deal carries a £7 million buyout clause, which is well within range of big spending PSG.

Newcastle are attempting to upgrade Ba's contract and write out the clause, but PSG hope to scupper their plans with a tempting offer for the Senegalese.
