PSG are expected to make a new attempt for Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann.
PSG coach Unai Emery admits speaking with his football directors about the need for a new attacking signing.
Griezmann is a favourite of PSG's powerbrokers, with Calciomercato.it reporting a €70 million offer has already been tabled. The player's contract now carries a €100 million buyout clause.
Emery stated yesterday: "(Edinson) Cavani has played a lot on the left, he must feel that he will be the centre forward, but he needs other players with him in attack.
"This is the position we've talked about, Patrick (Kluivert), Olivier (Letang) and me.
"If Cavani is injured, for example, we will require a player capable of playing at PSG. The criterion is to recruit a good name for a big club like Paris."
