PSG goalkeeper Gigi Buffon is happy to see Cristiano Ronaldo at former club Juventus.

As Buffon was announcing he was joining PSG, Juve were finalising a €112m deal with Real Madrid for Ronaldo.

The former Italy international stated: "The transfer of CR7 to Juventus? Now, whatever Juventus does, I'm a spectator.

"Juve is a big club like PSG.

"As they have done in the past, they are trying to maintain themselves a high level of competition."
