PSG hit back at Digard over Middlesbrough complaints

PSG have rapped Didier Digard after the youngster blamed the club for delaying his move to Middlesbrough.

"12 days after an agreement in principle was found between PSG and Middlesbrough for Didier Digard's transfer, the club is still waiting for financial guarantees from the English club," a PSG spokesman said.

"An agreement has been reached after a two-hour talk [with Keith Lamb and assistant in charge of transfers Karen Nelson] with an adjustment of payments.

"Until that moment, those guaranties have not been presented. Nevertheless, the negotiations are still in progress in an atmosphere of reciprocal confidence.

"The totality of PSG player Didier Digard's declarations is erroneous. Moreover, the player has wanted to leave PSG since December 2007."
