Paris Saint Germain are moving for Arsenal defender William Gallas.
The 32-year-old will be available on a free transfer this summer if he cannot agree a new deal with the Gunners.
Months of talks have brought no agreement, which has encouraged PSG to make a move.
Club official Bruno Skropeta recently met the player in Saint-Raphael, where Gallas was recovering from a calf strain, according to Le Parisien newspaper.
But the Ligue 1 club are also unlikely to meet his current salary and would instead rely on the allure of France being strong enough to tempt the former Marseille player.
