Paris St Germain's brilliant young defender Mamadou Sakho is a target for Newcastle United.

The People says Sakho, just 18, has already skippered PSG and is tipped for the top, with the Toon looking at him as a left-back or even central defender.

The strapping six-footer was watched by a two-man Newcastle delegation against Twente Enschede last week - and there were a handful of other Premier League clubs at the game as Sakho catches the eye. PSG want around £6million.
