PSG defender Marquinhos admits he's flattered Barcelona made a serious summer bid to sign him.

Barca spent several weeks attempting to convince PSG to sell the Brazilian.

"I am very grateful to the club for what it has done. The president is as ambitious as I am," said Marquinhos.

"Barcelona's interest flattered, but I'm very happy to stay at Paris Saint-Germain."
