PSG signing Diego Lugano has welcomed the prospect of Alvaro Pereira leaving Porto for Chelsea.
The pair are together with the Uruguay squad today and Lugano feels his and Pereira's move are great for his nation.
"It's the rebirth of Uruguayan football," said Lugano. "(Diego) Forlan to Inter Milan and there is still Pereira and (Luis) Suarez at Liverpool," said Lugano.
