PSG confirm signing of Alex from Chelsea
French club Paris Saint-Germain have officially confirmed the signing of Alex from Chelsea.
The Brazilian defender has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with a transfer fee of around £5million.
Alex said at today’s press conference that the prospect of again playing under Carlo Ancelotti helped him decide on PSG.
"Finally, we began to negotiate with PSG and everything went very well.
"I know the fame of the club, so I wanted to come. And I spent two years with Carlo Ancelotti at Chelsea. I wanted to play again with him.""Basically, I had not played much in the last two months and I wanted to leave Chelsea," Alex told reporters.
