PSG coach Laurent Blanc has admitted his admiration for unsettled Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney. Rooney is the subject of a confirmed bid from Chelsea this week.

"Rooney is a great player," Blanc told Eurosport France. "But in this area, PSG are very well supplied. First, let's just see what we can do in midfield.

"If we recruit another player, it will be in this area rather than in the attack."
