PSG coach Carlo Ancelotti is unimpressed by the FA's axing of Chelsea skipper John Terry as England captain.
The Italian is providing a character reference for Terry in the court case in July when he will contest a charge of a racially aggravated public order offence.
"I don't understand [the FA decision]," Ancelotti told the Mail on Sunday. "And I think John Terry doesn't understand it. I am sure that John Terry is not racist. This is the most important thing.
"I think to take away the armband makes no sense, it's unnecessary. I think John can survive through this because he has strong character. But I think it is not right."
