PSG coach Carlo Ancelotti feels David Beckham is making the right decision to hang up the boots.

Ancelotti has backed the timing of Manchester United legend Becks' decision.

He said: "It's not easy for a player to say he has to stop his career. But he had a fantastic career and I think he chose the right moment.

"We respect his decision. He took the right decision because he decided to stop and not wait for other people to make that decision.

"Football is losing a real professional, a good man, who had a very good image. So in that sense we can't be happy."
