Chelsea defender Alex is set to join Carlo Ancelotti at PSG.

The Daly Star says Alex was last night on the verge of a £4m move to Paris St Germain.

The Chelsea defender wants to link up with former Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti.

The Brazilian defender has been sidelined at Stamford Bridge for six weeks, ever since handing in a transfer request.

He has been forced to play and train with the reserve and youth teams after being made an outcast by boss Andre Villas-Boas.
