PSG chief Kluivert backing 'no fear' Ajax to shock Man Utd

PSG chief Patrick Kluivert is convinced former club Ajax can beat Manchester United in the Europa League final tonight.

Kluivert is convinced this game is ready-made for the underdogs to cause an upset, with the presence of his own son in the Ajax squad making comparisons with 1995 seem even more apt.

"We didn't see ourselves as underdogs going into that final against Milan," recalls Kluivert

"This was a young Ajax team, we had not been beaten for the whole season in Holland and then we had this one more game to win the biggest trophy.

"We were not intimidated. We had already beaten Milan, so it was natural for us to believe we could win.

"I find this is always how it happens with young players. When you have no experience of what can go wrong, you only think about the positive and that helps you to win.

"The current Ajax side is similar to ours in 1995. They are young, they have no fear and they have enjoyed a good run in a European competition. I'm always happy when Ajax succeeds."
