PSG captain Thiago Silva admits victory over Champions League opponents Liverpool left him cooked.

PSG defeated Liverpool 2-1 to keep their hopes alive of qualifying for the next round.

"It was tiring," said Thiago Silva. "The most important thing is that we played really like a team, the atmosphere was fantastic. We worked to win it. It was complicated, we are all happy for the win, but especially for the way we play.

"It has been shown that it is possible to raise our level.

"We must continue for qualification and play in Belgrade. Liverpool lost 2-0. You have to play well there. Everything is possible."
