PSG boss Carlo Ancelotti has cooled talk of a move for unhappy AS Roma midfielder Daniele de Rossi.

De Rossi is at odds with Roma coach Zdenek Zeman.

"De Rossi is an excellent player," Ancelotti told RMC. "However, I think it was just a temporary decision taken by the Coach for a single game.

"Links with us? That is only normal. It happens to a lot of players because everyone knows that we have the power to spend certain amounts of money, but the transfer market is closed."
