Jose Mourinho is proud of the heritage the Chelsea Football Club has created in recent years.
The Blues are one game away from another Champions League final after drawing 0-0 with Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night as Mourinho chases a third European title with three different clubs.
The Portuguese has been hell-bent on winning the Champions League with Chelsea and was feeling positive after a dogged display in Madrid put them in with a massive chance of progressing to the May 24 final in Lisbon.
Mourinho believes it is the heritage and legacy that has been built in southwest London that has allowed Chelsea to again be in the position they find themselves in.
"Many years ago Chelsea started building a team with great characters, with great personalities," Mourinho said.
"In football you can use the word heritage. The people that is arriving and the young people, they see the examples, the smell that heritage and goes on and on."
