American-based millionaire Dan Williams is keeping his £70million takeover of Blackburn Rovers alive - by 'signing' a new boss.

But Mark Hughes has no need to worry as Williams has been to Nigeria to hire someone to run his building business, says the Mirror .

Now he can spend more time pushing through a deal for Rovers. He hopes that his £45m offer for shares and a further £25m for a transfer kitty will be accepted and satisfy the trustees.
