Watford defender Sebastian Prodi expressed his gratitude for the supper of the Hornets fans on Sunday.
The Hertfordshire club defeated Manchester United 3-1 at Vicarage Road to claim their first victory over the Red Devils since 1986.
Austrian international Prodl was thrilled with how the crowd reacted to the performance of the players on what was a massive day for the club.
"The crowd was massive, it was such great support today," he told Hornets Player.
"I can't remember when it was so loud in the stadium once before and I think it's going to be a very nice afternoon for all of the Watford supporters, especially those who have been in the stadium today.
"Everyone is happy. As you can see I'm smiling when you remind me of the crowd and the game.
"We have to look forward now but let's enjoy this win first."
Etienne Capoue, Camilo Zuniga and Troy Deeney were all on target as Watford produced their best performance of the season so far.
