Crystal Palace will offer goalkeeper Lewis Price says manager Dougie Freedman.
The 27-year old is number two behind Julian Speroni at Selhurst Park but has done well in the Carling Cup when called upon and Freedman has revealed the Eagles will look to secure him for the future.
"We're going to open talks with Lewis with the view to getting him to sign a new deal," the manager told the Croydon Advertiser.
"He hasn't ever let me down this season when he has come into the side and I've been impressed with him.
"We want to have quality cover in each position and I think Lewis has a bright future ahead of him.
"Julian isn't going to play forever and one day we'll need to replace him."
