Burnley have signed of Republic of Ireland international Keith Treacy from Preston for an undisclosed fee on a three-year deal. Clarets boss Eddie Howe told the club's official website: "I am delighted to get Keith on board. I saw him play an awful lot last season and he always impressed me.
"He's a fantastic player with great ability and a lovely left foot and I think he will really add to the squad."
Former Blackburn trainee Treacy added: "I'm delighted. The deal has taken a lot longer than anticipated but it's all done and dusted now and I'm really happy to be here.
"It's been bubbling along whilst I've been playing for Ireland this summer. But I'm here now, it's the right side [of the M65] and hopefully we can be playing against Blackburn next season in the Premier League."
