Preston North End have swooped for Leicester City forward Paul Gallagher.

Gallagher has joined Preston on a season-long loan.

"It was something we were looking to do with Paul over the summer," Preston boss Simon Grayson said.

"He made it very clear to us he wanted to come back and after negotiations with Leicester it is a done deal."
