Preston secure Stevenage boss Westley as their new manager

League One Preston North End have agreed a compensation deal with Stevenage to allow Graham Westley to become their new manager. Westley's coaching staff of John Dreyer and Dino Maamria will be joining him at Deepdale.

The 43-year-old replaces Phil Brown at Deepdale, who was sacked in November(less than a year into the job), following a 0-0 draw against Westley's Stevenage.

Stevenage skipper Mark Roberts will be in charge for Saturday's game at Rochdale, with the search for a new manager now underway.
