Preston North End are ready to sign Liam Grimshaw after he was recalled by Manchester United from his loan spell at Motherwell, according to the Daily Mail.

Grimshaw was recently prematurely recalled from his temporary stint at Scottish side Motherwell and it looks like the midfielder will be on the move once again.

Preston have recently expressed their interest in Grimshaw and the Championship outfit are already in discussions with United over a permanent deal for the 20-year-old this month.
