Preston defender Collins wants Leeds stay

Preston North End defender Neill Collins hopes to sign permanently with Leeds United.

After helping Leeds win promotion, Collins is keen to play for Simon Grayson's side in the Championship.

He told BBC Radio Leeds: "Hopefully we are not far away from something happening. My agent will speak with Simon Grayson and we will find out where things lie. The good thing is Preston are looking to sell me. As long as it happens I will be happy.

"I know I am on the transfer list and I am looking to move on. I had a great time at Leeds. I loved it and fell in love with the club and want more of it."
