Preston caretaker bosses Graham Alexander and David Unsworth are set for talks over the managerial vacancy at Deepdale. The pair took the reins following the dismissal of Phil Brown last month and have only tasted defeat once in four League One matches.

"There is no official line as yet as we've not had a chance to talk to the chairman," said Unsworth. "We have given our all in the last three weeks and all our focus has been on the players.

"We have a break in fixtures now so we'll take the opportunity to talk with the chairman and put our point of view across and I'm sure the right decision will be made."
