Preston have accepted a £300,000 offer from Premier League outfit Wigan for wantaway goalkeeper Carlo Nash.

The 33-year-old fell out of favour at North End in January after publicly stating his desire to move to Fulham and subsequently had a two-month loan spell with Wigan, where he failed to make an appearance.

North End chairman Derek Shaw told his club's official website: "Carlo is currently on honeymoon but he is due back in the country at the beginning of next week and will meet with Wigan on Tuesday, so we believe."
