Pressure on Arsenal as Leicester boss labels Gunners as title favourites

Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri has heaped pressure on Arsenal after branding them as favourites for the Premier League title.

The Gunners currently trail the Foxes by two points at the summit of the league table and the Italian was quick to deflect attention from his side by labelling Arsene Wenger's as the favourites for the premiership.

"I agree with these people when they say Arsenal is the favourite or City is the favourite," Ranieri said.

"For me, Arsenal are favourites.

"We are a young team, it's the first time we're top of the league, we aren't used to staying there.

"For this reason it's important for me they don't think about it. It's like a climber. If you look below you think, 'Oh my God!'"

The Italian claims despite their league position, the Foxes are under no pressure.

He added: "The pressure is on the big teams. Leicester had the pressure last season in this period - bad stress. Now, no.

"Now they must enjoy. They must play free, without pressure. We should enjoy."
